I was really looking forward to this product but I had to stop using it cause it caused sores and breakouts on my scalp. I was looking for something to help strengthen hair hair and help density. After doing a lot of research and reading reviews I went with this shampoo, conditioner and scalp serum. I had used the scalp serum before and liked it, never had any issues with it so decided to to try the system. I tried it for 3.5 months and after the first wash I noticed I had small bumps around my frontal hairline. I thought maybe it was from the oil, maybe I let it sit for to long ect. Read reviews that others had this happen and that it would go away over time cause the scalp could be detoxing. After 3 washes it kept getting worse so I stopped the oil to see if that was it. It helped a little but then I started to get sores all over my scalp. I thought maybe it was a new leave conditioner that I got with it as well. I really had to trial and error with new products, in hindsight yes I should have just stopped the shampoo and conditioner right away but for whatever reason I didn't. So, I stopped using the new leave in conditioner and went back to my old one. After using just the shampoo and conditioner and washing my hair 1-2 a week my hair line around my temple area started to get more breakouts, sores, and my hair line started to thin even more. My hair looked flat, lifeless and my scalp felt like it was hot all the time. 2 weeks ago I decided to stop using the shampoo conditioner and ever since I stopped my scalp almost instantly healed and has started to go back to its normal state. The sores are almost all gone and I have no more break outs. I've washed my hair 4 times in a span of 2 weeks with what I used prior to using this awful crap and its practically healed. Hopefully my hairline will start to come back but I know that will take time. I've never had a reaction to anything before. I don't have sensitive skin, I've never had issues with being sensitive to products before so I was shocked that this happened. It has been an incredibly long 3.-5 month that has caused so much stress and made me so self conscious. I'm glad it's helped others but its ruined my hair and scalp and I'll never be using this brand again. I went back online and found a ton of other people have also had this reaction but for whatever reason their reviews either get taken down or they just don't get seen. So beware this can and might ruin your hair and scalp.

Apply a dime sized amount into hands and massage on wet hair for rich lather. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat and follow with Rosemary Mint Strengthening Conditioner or Hair Masque.

scalp oil: i used to buy the same scalp hail oil but from somewhere else. formulation i bought frm this seller is thicker than the first one i bought which was very watery. but i hope this works equally the same... just applied it on my scalp and gna leave it for about half an hour before i wash it off as ive seen my baby hair grow very fast leaving for half an hr! I received this the day after i placed an order!

shampoo: have yet to try but hopefully it does works well just like the previous mielle shampoo i bought. so far the scalp oil and shampoo combo have made my hair improved so much in terms of hair growth, split ends & dry hair issue on my dry coloured hair without the conditioner. I received this the day after i placed an order too!

Overall performance i feel this brand is useful for dry thin hair, but if you are afraid that this scalp oil is too strong for you maybe can try the other oil version which is lighter. Fast delivery and bubble wrapped properly.
