That's right; I said it. The book is awful. I've read countless books and none were ever as exhausting as this one. James manages to smoosh three or four sentences-worth of words into one sentence, so that the reader has no idea what he just said. It took me three days to read thirty pages. Finally, I just gave up. There has never been such an assault on the English language.

A good book but difficult read
