Versace Dylan Blue Pour Homme is a fragrance that embodies a captivating and seductive scent. From the moment I sprayed it on, I was enveloped in a sophisticated and powerful aroma. The top notes of bergamot and grapefruit give a fresh and invigorating first impression. It immediately grabs your attention and sets the tone for the rest of the fragrance journey. As the scent settles, the middle notes of aquatic accords and violet leaves come forward. This combination adds a touch of elegance and masculinity, creating a harmonious balance. It's like a breath of fresh air, making you feel confident and refined. The base notes of amber, patchouli, and tonka bean give depth and richness to the fragrance. They add a sensual and mysterious touch that lingers on your skin for hours. It's a scent that draws people closer and leaves a lasting impression. In terms of longevity. On my skin it projects nice for around 2 hours or so and becomes a closer scent, not necessarily a skin scent but not beastly either. On clothes it stays a lot longer and I'll catch whiffs of it on and off for 6-8 hours after it kind of dies down. IMO it's phenomenal stuff, blind buy safe and I highly recommend for any collection. 9/10

In regards to “blue” fragrances, most of these fragrances tend to follow the same fresh, aquatic DNA and these fragrances tend to meld together. It’s the little nuances that help each individual blue fragrance stand out from the rest. For me, Versace Dylan Blue Pour Homme stands out with its smoky peppery element. It still has the same familiar vibe as YSL’s Y, Bleu De Chanel, and Dior Sauvage, but that smoky nuance gives it a very appealing quality.

Longevity was around 4 hours and it lasted up to 6 if I sprayed my shirt. It projects well and while my wife said it smells generic, she did say its smells extremely fresh and clean which most people enjoy.

Despite its familiarity and ubiquitous scent profile, Dylan Blue is my choice in the blue fragrances category just for the smoky nuance I get. Highly recommended.

I received this promotional sample from Versace in exchange for my incentivized opinion. Versace Dylan Blue is a handsome masculine fragrance. The opening has prominent citrus notes, in this case bergamot and grapefruit as well as fig leaves, it mixes perfectly with another top note which is patchouli and the rest lingers till the end wich are the woody aromas such as pepper, tonka bean and saffron. This fragrance reminds me of something from the 90s but revamped and refined to meet the current trends. It could've easily been something from the house of Aramis or Bijan, such as New West, which was one of my favorites back in the day. The sillage in this one is great as any Versace fragrance, and the longevity is good but not for all of the notes, not in a bad way though, the ending result on my skin is a very clean and crisp masculine woody and citrusy fragrance. I love it. It's also a very versatile one that can be worn during day, night, and all seasons.

With the product carrying the Versace logo and brand one would expect it to be nothing but exceptional. Overall I’d agree with that statement when it comes to the Versace Dylan Blue. It comes off with a strong, masculine fragrance, Dylan Blue encapsulates the sensual scents of the Mediterranean. The fragrance has tones of citrus, hints of bergamot and grapefruit, enriched with spicy notes of rare saffron and musky base notes. I like the blue and gold display. Unfortunately I only tested the tester size but the full size bottle online looks masculine and stands out with its design. Overall I would recommend this product to any man looking for a sensual Mediterranean and aquatic scent. The price point is in my opinion average to higher than average. I would say it’s more of a summer than winter fragrance.
