What’s your hometown (or country) known for?

My hometown is known for art, good wine and good food.

What’s one thing that reminds you of home?

The passion of the Whitecaps fans for the team is the same as the passion of the Fiorentina fans for their team.

What do you love most about Vancouver?

I love the fact that there’s a lot of different neighbourhoods that have different vibes, even if it’s not a big town, there’s a lot of different corners inside the town.

Who’s one celebrity you’d most like to meet?

Rowan Atkinson, so I can see if I really look like Mr.Bean.

If you had to swap places with a teammate for a day, who would you choose?

I’d like to be Youssef [Dahha], so I can dance like him.

There’s a zombie apocalypse and you can choose three teammates to help you survive it. Who are you picking?

My coaching staff, we live together, we die together.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Time travel.

Describe your dream home.

I’m an apartment guy, let’s say a good penthouse in a condo.

What’s your favourite genre of music?

Rock.

What’s your favourite movie?

Pulp Fiction.

Describe your dream vacation.

Any place in Southern Europe, because you can come by history, culture, have great food and have a great place on the sea.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

You’re not right every time, so take criticism well.

When you’re not in your usual matchday attire, what do you dress like?

Very, very casual. I’m not a sharp dresser, jeans are always there!

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Check if my cat, Freda, is in the bed with my wife and I.

Describe the worst haircut you’ve ever had.

I had very long hair, blond-dyed, it was very, very bad, I looked like a really bad version of Fabio Lanzoni.

What’s your favourite language?

My favourite language would be English for business, Spanish to have fun and Italian to love.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza.

What would the title of your autobiography be?

It’s A Serious Thing To Be Funny.

What’s the strangest job you’ve ever had?

It wasn’t that strange, I was a pizza delivery guy.

What is your cellphone wallpaper?

Freda.

What’s the quirkiest thing about you?

When I think, I need to always have a book close to me because I like to touch a book when I’m lost in thought.

What’s your go-to dance move in the club?

Crossing my legs when I’m crossing my hands in the opposite direction.
