Harley-Davidson launches new cruiser, CVO motorcycles for 2019

For model-year 2019, Harley-Davidson has launched the FXDR 114

Less than a month after Harley-Davidson announced plans for new motorcycles, on Tuesday the company unveiled a cruiser and three new touring models. 

The new FXDR 114 cruiser has Harley’s Softail chassis and a Milwaukee-Eight engine. A wind screen wraps around an LED headlamp, and a stretched 4.4-gallon fuel tank lengthens the bike’s profile.

The FXDR has keyless ignition, a security system and USB charging port as standard equipment.

It comes in six color choices, and Harley says the bike is shipping to dealerships now.

The company did not disclose the retail price.

Also Tuesday, Harley unveiled three 2019 Custom Vehicle Operation bikes and a new, more powerful audio system for those bikes.

For model-year 2019, Harley-Davidson has launched three new Custom Vehicle Operation bikes including the Road Glide (shown), Street Glide and CVO Limited.

Harley-Davidson recently said it plans to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to stimulate growth through new motorcycles in the next four years.
